Requirement

1) This course is designed for students who are successfully completed the Advanced course.
2) Student’s age should be minimum 5 years.
3) You need good working laptop or tablet with stable internet connection.

Syllabus

1. Middlegame Calculation – The player is taught how to calculate with discipline in the middlegame using practical examples from tournament games.
2. Middlegame Calculation 2 The player gets familiar with static and dynamic elements in the middle game. A checklist is provided and problems are solved. Some games where this theme is applied are shown.
3. Endgame technique – The player is taught how to handle queen less middlegames. He becomes aware of techniques which are used to grind opponents from equal positions.
4.Weaknesses and Strengths of players – The player is taught how to identify weaknesses and Strengths of different chess players.
5. Analysing own games A systematic way to analyse games is provided with examples. They are made aware of the benefits and how this affects tournament performance.
6. One hour practice routine A one-hour practice routine is established which covers all the aspects of the game. Relevant training material is provided.
7. Types of openings All the player openings are collected and lines are sorted according to technical and critical lines. A basic database of all the opening lines is formed. Additionally, some setup openings are suggested.
8.Opening strategies White Strategies on how to apply pressure on the opponent in the respective openings.
9. Opening strategies Black Strategies on how to apply pressure on the opponents in the respective openings.
10. Mindset Psychological aspects of tournament play are covered. Examples of good and poor decisions are provided. Benefits of fighting equal positions till the end. How to handle rating difference games etc. Tournament habits and the right mindset for continuous growth is discussed

Outcomes

1) Student will be able to increase his/her Fide rating up to 1800.
2) Students will learn openings in depth.
3) Students will develop their logical thinking in middlegame and endgame.
